Description

Trainwreck is a sativa dominant hybrid strain with a 90:10 ratio. The urban legend of this strain is that after a train wreck happened nearby, the original growers had to dig up and relocate all of their plants, as they feared they would be busted!Whether or not this myth is true, this strain was bred from Mexican and Thai sativa strains, with a bit of Afghani indica thrown into the mix.

Even though trainwreck strain barely has any indica, it still provides the relaxing and oftentimes couch-locking effects. Appearance and Flavor

Trainwreck plants tend to grow fairly tall, like most sativa dominant strains. The buds are long and conical in shape, and tend to be light green in color with accents of amber pistils throughout each nug. Because of its lineage, this strain gives off a strong hashy and spicy smell, with undertones of sweet pine and cedar. It may not have a candy-like appeal as other strains do, but Trainwreck is still celebrated by seasoned users for its delicious aroma. Its flavor profile is very similar, except with an added component of lemon. On the inhale, you’ll be able to perceive a sour herbal flavor, with light notes of sweetness and pine.
